Meet our Coaching Staff!
Michaela Lavelle
Michaela has been coaching volleyball at the CCBA since September 2022. She is happy to return to the sport she grew up playing as a coach! It has been so rewarding for her to see the athletes develop their skills and cheer each other on as they progress.

I’ve been playing rec volleyball for the last couple of months and the opportunity to volunteer with the Aces was really a serendipitous event. I work with a parent of one of the current players and they brought it to my attention. I thought it would be a really great opportunity to give back to the community while doing something that I really love and sharing what I’ve learned along the way.
My favorite part of working with the kids is seeing the progress that they’ve made and the joy on their face when they make a really good play and just watching their confidence build as they get more experienced with playing the game.
Anneka L. Johnson
Anneka is earning her PhD in Cancer Biology at Dartmouth College.
This is her first-time coaching volleyball. She enjoyed playing volleyball in middle and high school while growing up in rural Wisconsin and is excited to get more kids playing volleyball. Her favorite part of coaching is seeing how much the kids’ skills keep improving and contributing to the greater Lebanon community.
