Longhorns Basketball

Longhorns Basketball Club has been training and developing student athletes since 2007. Our goal is to enhance the quality of basketball in the greater Upper Valley area by teaching proper basketball technique and strategies. We achieve teach age and skill appropriate drills focused on advancing individual skills and transferring that into TEAM concepts.

Longhorns Basketball Club prides itself on its distinguished history. In 2015 Longhorns won their first AAU NH State Championship, leading to the club’s first trip to AAU Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. Individual achievements within the program are plentiful as well with students being recognized with 4 NHIAA Players of the Year, well over 50 All-State Honors in VT/NH and more than 25 student athletes who have continued to play in college.

Jeff Sowa

We’d like to welcome Jeff Sowa to our coaching staff! Jeff is a teacher in the Lebanon School District and has been involved in coaching basketball for 8 years, a sport that he developed a love for growing up.  He has recently been named the Girls Varsity Head Coach at Lebanon High School.  Here’s a nice quote from Coach Sowa about his time this Spring working with the Longhorns Boys program.  “I have enjoyed my experience with the Longhorns program and getting to know each individual within the organization.  I get joy out of witnessing the personal and athletic growth of all athletes and they have been a privilege to coach.”
