About Us

The CCBA has been building community for 100 years!

Founded in 1919, the Carter Community Building Association (CCBA) is a nonprofit recreation and fitness organization.  We encourage people of all ages and physical abilities to play, exercise, and compete.

The CCBA has wonderful indoor and outdoor facilities!

Located in downtown Lebanon, the CCBA operates two buildings and a park.  Our indoor facilities include a 25-yard, six-lane pool, a whirlpool, a double gymnasium and a practice gym, cardiovascular and strength training areas, a Functional Fitness studio, group fitness studios, a racquetball court, game room, preschool classrooms, a child care room, and locker rooms with saunas.  Our outdoor complex features basketball and tennis courts, children’s play structures, a pavilion, and a multi-purpose field.

The CCBA offers a lot to do!

Are you a parent thinking your child would enjoy a preschool program, swim lessons, summer camp, a basketball team, tennis lessons, exercise instruction, or something fun like a “Father/Daughter Valentines Dance?”  The CCBA is for you.  Are you an adult looking for cardiovascular and strength training, TRX, Personal Training, Indoor Cycling, TRX, yoga, Pilates, water exercise, volleyball, or maybe even pickleball?  The CCBA is for you, too!  BETTER YET, THERE’S MORE!

The CCBA is YOU!

The CCBA is self-supporting; we receive no public funding.  Our members and program participants help us make Lebanon and the Upper Valley better places in which to live.
